Already did my neighbor.

I never had my chimney swept, so didn't know the going price for the job. The chimney was inspected and there were repairs advised. I thought the price was too HIGH. Otherwise the sweep was done well.

This was my first experience with this service and I was not expecting it to be as expensive as it was but have nothing to compare it to. I was very pleased with the service, however and would absolutely recomend it.

I just bought my home and knew the chimney need some TLC. The service I received was excellent. I never felt pressure to purchase anything and after the cleaning, my fireplace looks brand new and functions like new! I would definitely recommend them!

My only complaint would be the fact he was 2 hours late. He had called earlier, but only to say he'd be an hour late as he was running behind schedule. Had I been busy or needed to go somewhere, I would have left and he would not have got the job,. But he showed exactly 2 hours late, (1 hour late from his re-scheduled appointment) but then he proceeded to do a good job.

John did good work and repaired my chimney and cleaned my fireplace and kept his work area clean. My only problem with his service was the hidden cost of the service. After inspecting the fireplace and chimney, he informed me that he would have to come back with a part to repair chimney and wanted a $95.00 deposit. For clarity, I asked if that would be subtracted from the total amount on the estimate and he said, " yes." When he returned and completed the work on another day, the cost was still the total on the estimate. He said he charged me $95.00 if he has to return. He knew he had to return when we discussed the estimate! Beware.
